I don’t think the grill looks bad, and I don’t like Acura front ends.
The headlights don’t do it for me, sorry, Honda.

Meh.
Honda needs to pick a grille design and stick with it for all their models. This matches the new Fit and Civic, but negates the questionable attempt at making Acura seem more premium if one subscribes to the “more chrome = more luxurious” school of though. It isn’t as beaky/egg-toothy as the “power plenum”, but still isn’t the most flattering choice. I think the box with slats look from roughly 2006-2008 was the accord’s best grille of the last decade. The one that went with the most recent redesign was clearly borrowed from the Isuzu-ified accords not sold in the US.
They need to get their headlights figured out. The current ones - and the ones in this design, apparently - look like eBay units where the LEDs are tacked on as an afterthought, and look worse than the early Audi units where each LED was spread out in a row from the rest of them. The tail lights look lifted right off the previous-generation Hyundai Genesis.
TL;DR: Honda is being schizophrenic in its designs over the last decade, and needs to calm down, focus, and stop throwing a hodgepodge of ideas around and seeing if they stick. It’s like they're trying to be gm or something, in a bad way.
